Thank you for your interest in booking with Chakana Liveaboard. Please take your time to carefully read the following terms and conditions. With your confirmed booking, you automatically agree with these conditions.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS

All reservations must be made by electronic mail/ online form reservation / WhatsApp messenger. A deposit of 25% no later than 3 days after the date the reservation is made. Payments can be made by transfer to our bank account in Indonesia. Account numbers will be provided in the corresponding invoice. Chakana Liveaboard will not be responsible for any bank costs related to the transfer made by the clients for the vessel deposit or balance payment. Chakana Liveaboard will automatically offer to other guests if this booking fee is not received within the stated period of time

PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE

Payment of the balance must be made 30 days prior to the departure. If full payment of the balance is not received by this date, Chakana Liveaboard can cancel the booking and enforce the cancellation policy as set out in the Cancellation Policy below

SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS

Full payment must be made at the time of booking if the reservation is made less than 14 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION FEE POLICY INDIVIDUAL BOOKING & CHARTER
Cancellation by you :

Cancellation of your reservation must be in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date of the receipt by us of your email or mail of cancellation

All payment paid by you to Chakana shall be retained by Chakana & forfeited without right of refund. In view of these strict cancellation provisions we strongly recommend that you buy travel insurance

Cancellation by you :

We reserve the right to cancel any Cruise and we agree to inform you as soon as reasonably possible using the contact information you have given us. If such cancellation is due to circumstances which are reasonably foreseeable & totally within our control we will either (at our option):

  • Agree to refund you all payment and you agree to accept such refund as being in full and final settlement of all and any of our liability to you, or,
  • If you (or your Guest) is/are already in Indonesia we will try to provide you (or your Guest) with alternative holiday arrangements of an equivalent standard. We will not be liable or responsible for any further claims or a refund and shall not be liable for damages or loss (other than a refund) if a trip is cancelled and alternative arrangements are offered to you & are not accepted by you (or your Guest).
  • If any of the payments due from you (or your Guest) are not received on the dates stated on the invoice, Chakana reserves the right to cancel the reservation & retain all payments received.

We are not liable to refund you any money you have paid us in the event that we have to cancel your Cruise or we are unable to undertake the Cruise due to Force Majeure & we are not liable to you for any loss or damage which you may suffer due to Force Majeure.

RESCHEDULE POLICY

The trip can be reschedule maximal within 45 days (forty five days) notice prior the trip with the condition below :

  • Closure of National Park (announced by Government).
  • Closure of Destination Airport (announced by Government).
  • Pandemic.

The guest can reschedule the trip depend on the Chakana Liveaboard availability. The reschedule valid for 6 months (six months) since the original date. The trip is not refundable

GENERAL TERM
  • 30 days prior to departure client must inform: ID card/PASSPORT, Itinerary, Transfer in-out.
  • Check in time : 10.00am (depend on the agreement)
  • Check out time : 10.00am (depend on the agreement and availability)
  • Chakana Liveaboard must be secured keep his of valuables. Management is not responsibility for loss or damage to valuables (money, clothes, jewelry, vehicles, etc.) because negligence from guests. In case of loss, damage, then this will be the responsibility of the guest.
  • Guests are not allowed to smoking in the bedroom. If Guests got smoke in the bedroom, Guests must pay Penalty IDR 5.000.000 ( Five Million Rupiah).
  • Don’t dispose of sanitary napkins and the other objects into the hole closet. Trash should be thrown into the trash that has been provided by Management. If there is a blockage in the closet due to the negligence, the Guest will be responsible to repair it. The Penalty is IDR 10,000,000 (Ten Million Rupiah).
  • These Rules may be changed and improved in the future.
